WHY WEDDING & LIFESTYLE PHOTOGRAPHY?
It wasn’t until I dove into media production, graphic design, and content creation for brands and events that I realised where my heart truly lies. While I gained some great experience along the way, I found that working with real people—especially couples—was where the magic happens! Weddings let me connect with people on a personal level, capturing their love in the most true and authentic way.
With my experience in fast-paced environments, I’m ready for anything the day throws at us, so you can just focus on enjoying every moment. The love and excitement between you two will always be the heart and soul of everything I capture, and that’s what makes each wedding so special!

MY CREATIVE JOURNEY- in full

Being born in the 2000s, cameras were always accessible to me in one way or another. My first was a pink VTech kids’ camera, followed by a bright purple zoom-in one when I was about eight. I loved taking photos—maybe not as obsessively as I do now, but the spark was there.
A big part of my passion comes from my family, who were always snapping pictures on their old digital cameras. There’s something so heartwarming about looking back at those retro, 2000s-style photos and reliving the memories they captured.
By my teenage years, I had started borrowing my dad’s camera, experimenting on and off—capturing anything from landscapes to flowers! At 16, I finally got my own camera, and while it was a game-changer, I still had so much to learn—lots of trial and error, but I loved every moment of it!
Then came lockdown, which honestly turned my world upside down. I was supposed to be doing my GCSEs, but life had other plans. My year was the only one not to sit GCSEs, and with months of canceled learning, I found myself lost at first. But it gave me time—time to fully pour myself into photography and explore what I really loved.
>>>I even began my Photography Insta account around this point- (feel free to scroll back a few hundred posts and laugh at my low-res pics and questionable editing!). Turns out, sometimes the toughest moments lead to the best discoveries.

While studying for my A-levels, my passion for photography quickly expanded into a love for the entire creative process—planning, shooting, editing, and storytelling.
It wasn’t just about pressing the shutter anymore; I found myself diving into videography and other aspects of media. I was so committed to honing my skills that, okay, I might have skipped a few days of sixth form for shooting opportunities
(probably not the best idea, but hey! it worked out in the end!).
At 16, I had my first paid shoot—capturing photos of micro-greens for a local farm. It was a huge deal for me! I was totally new to everything—clueless about lighting, editing, and honestly, life in general (lol). But I’m so thankful for that first opportunity; it really set me on the path!
By 17, I was hired to photograph my very first wedding. It was a bit intimidating stepping into the wedding world at such a young age, but my love for it grew super fast. Over the next few years, I juggled my passion for wedding photography with shooting for brands, festivals, and media projects—everything from event photography to directing mini-documentaries.

As much as I enjoyed editing moving images, and got the swing of it- as time went on, I realised that weddings were what I truly loved. I enjoyed the emotion, the connection, and the storytelling far more than the structured, commercial side of media work.
So, in 2023, I made the decision to drop video work and graphic design to fully focus on my wedding photography, and I haven’t looked back since.

Despite sneaking off for shoots here and there, I still finished school with top marks—an A* in Art, an A in Photography, and a B in Media Studies! After my A-levels, I continued pursuing projects in the commercial world, including directing, storyboarding, and set design for The CSVP Project by St. Wilfrid’s.
I also had the opportunity to produce and edit a mini-documentary for Ross from Seed n Spoon (Tiny Kitchen UK)—my very first client when I was just 16, and someone who truly saw my potential. The mini-doc followed his visits to Laines Organics, and you can find these videos on YouTube!
Now, I focus solely on capturing weddings and love stories. I’ve stepped away from what I find high-pressure commercial jobs and instead create heartfelt, joyful images that feel real and meaningful.
